Ph.D. Grad Yili Ren Lands Tenure-Track Position at the University of South Florida

His research interests focus on mobile computing with an emphasis on integrating the sensing capabilities of wireless and mobile devices to build new classes of Internet of Things (IoT) and smart home applications, enable novel technologies for human-computer interaction (HCI), as well as improve smart home and IoT security. His research work has been published at top-tier mobile computing, computer security, and human-computer interaction venues, including ACM SenSys, USENIX Security, and ACM IMWUT (UbiComp), and has been reported by presses like Tech Xplore, News8Plus, Sina, Unite.Ai, Livedoor News, etc. He will join the University of South Florida in August 2023.
