I am an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Department at Florida State University. I received my Ph.D. degree from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University in Aug. 2020, supervised by Dr. Linke Guo. My current research lies at the intersection of networking, distributed systems, and artificial intelligence. I develop systems and algorithms that enable efficient and resilient AI execution across distributed edge devices in next-generation wireless networks. I am a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award (2026). My publications have appeared in leading conferences and journals, including ACM MobiHoc, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICDCS, ICML, UAI, IEEE Transactions on Networking (TON), IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC), IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (TWC), and IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing (TDSC).
Multiple RA positions are always available for highly self-motivated Ph.D. students who are expected to closely work with our research group. TA positions would be recommended if applications are satisfied with the department requirements. If you are interested, please send your resume or CV, TOEFL and GRE scores, and everything else that you believe will help your application to xzhang14@fsu.edu.
