It's time to schedule the project presentations. We'll do them on Wednesday and Thursday of the last week of classes (August 1 and 2). A schedule with half hour time slots is on the course website.
Please send me an email with 4 most preferred time slots, and I will give you the first one that is available.
The page will be updated frequently. Please check the latest availability before sending the email.
Please keep in mind that I would prefer if everyone on the team was available during the presentation, since we will be asking questions to determine how involved you were with the project. So, it would be appreciated if you could consult with your teammates and pick time slots where all of you are available. If circumstances conspire to make that impossible, let me know, and we'll see what we can do.
The late deadline for Homework 3 has been extended to 11:59 PM on Thursday, July 5th 2018, since the school's closed tomorrow. Happy 4th of July.
We will not be meeting for lecture today (06/25/2018). I have a doctor's appointment that was moved at the last moment and could not be rescheduled. We are ahead of schedule as far as material is concerned, so this should not cause any issues.
Please use this time to work on the project and the third homework, which will be posted before 11 AM. Office hours will be held as usual.
The link to the strftime function reference on Built-Ins 1 Slide 14 is broken. I'll fix it when I get back to the office tomorrow. In the meantime, the correct URL is here
Please add me and your TA's to your project github repos. Our usernames are listed here:

You should now be able to see an entry for Quizzes in your gradebook. We will have at least 4 quizzes over the semester, and each of those is worth 25 points. So, right now, after this week's quiz, you are seeing the grade on 25, even if the gradebook says 100. This is because, as we have more quizzes, I'll just update this entry instead of having a separate entry for each quiz. Please don't panic when you see the x/100 grade.
It is likely that we will have more than 4 quizzes (I'm planning 5 or 6). If we do, your grade will be the total of the 4 highest quiz grades. This allows folks to miss a couple of quizzes and still get the full 100. So, even if you missed last week's quiz, you're probably fine.
If you are using Windows 10 and you're having issues setting up the network adapter, please follow the steps on this stack Overflow thread
Welcome to the course.
We will be using the Canvas page only for grades and announcements.
