A paper led by FSU students from Dr. Gubanov’s lab was presented at the IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE), one of the leading venues in Data Science.
The paper titled “Scalable Tabular Hierarchical Metadata Classification in Heterogeneous Structured Large-scale Datasets using Contrastive Learning,” led by FSU graduate students Bhim Kandibedala and Gyanendra Shrestha, along with the PI Dr. Gubanov, was presented at the IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE), held from May 19–23, 2025. ICDE is recognized as one of the leading conferences in the world and is recognized by CSRankings.
The paper describes hierarchical structured data and AI-based methods to analyze it.
