Computer Science Student Seminars (Feb 3rd – Semester End)

Dear Colleagues and CS Graduate Students,

We are excited to announce that our computer science Student Seminars at Florida State University are starting again this spring semester!
This weekly seminar series provides a great opportunity for students to share their research, practice presentation skills, and engage with peers and faculty members.

  • Location: Room 353, LOV Building
  • Time: Every Tuesday, 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM (ET)
  • Bonus Perk: Free lunch and drinks will be provided for attendees of the student seminar!
  • Award Opportunity: At the end of the semester, we will select a Distinguished Presentation Award and a Distinguished Presentation Award (Runner-up) among this semester’s presenters.

The seminar will start on Feb 3rd, 2026.
We are currently looking for student presenters. If you are interested in giving a talk this semester, please complete the form below:

The form will collect some essential details, including:

  • Your preferred presentation date during Spring 2026 Term.
  • Presentation title and abstract (160 – 400 words).
  • A short paragraph of self-introduction (100 – 300 words).
  • Your profile photo (for seminar publicity and announcement).

Optional:

  • (If applicable) A web link to your paper if it has been available online.
  • (If applicable) Presentation slides. If slides are not ready yet, you may provide them at the time of your presentation.

Whether you are looking to present your research, discuss a recent paper, or practice for an upcoming conference, this is a supportive environment to do so.
