CS Student Seminar Series returns this fall

Dear Colleagues and CS Students,

We are excited to announce that the FSU Computer Science Student Seminar series is returning this fall!

The seminar series provides a welcoming opportunity for students to share their research, practice their presentation skills, and engage with fellow students and faculty members. FALL 2026
Time Selected Wednesdays in October and November, 11:45 AM–12:45 PM (ET)
Location To be announced
Lunch Lunch and drinks will be provided for attendees.
Awards At the end of the semester, we will select recipients for the Distinguished Presentation Award and the Distinguished Presentation Award (Runner-up).
CALL FOR PRESENTERS

The first seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026. We are currently looking for student presenters for this semester. If you are interested in giving a talk, please complete the registration form below:

Sign-Up Form

The form will ask for the following information:

  • Your preferred presentation date
  • Your presentation title and abstract (170–350 words)
  • A short self-introduction (100–350 words)
  • Your profile photo
  • A link to the paper you will present, if applicable

Whether you would like to present your own research, discuss a recent paper, or practice for an upcoming conference, this seminar series offers a supportive environment in which to do so.
