The Scrum model can be applied to all kinds of projects. It is not limited to software development.
A core element of this model, which is a variant of the "agile development" philosophy, is learning by experience:
Incremental evolution of the product, including the requirements, the design, and the implementation
Reflecting periodically on not only how the product can be improved, but also on how the development process can be improved, and then applying what has been learned to the next iteration
Plan for five minutes, with a few minutes of optional addition material if there is time, or to address anticipated questions.
