1. Were there any problems with the coruse last year? If Yes, describe the problems. 

Yes. There were scheduling issues but were resolved. With three sections it was difficult to schedule 
all of the oral presentations in the time allotted. The class also does not comply with the Universities
Oral Competecy requirement because at least 1/3 of the course needs to cover oral presentation.    
These problems exacerbated issues scheduling oral presentations.

2. Course committee recommendations to the current/future instructors.

Recommend changing the format of the course so that is more of a seminar to foster discussion. 
Change the level of the course from a 4000 to 3000 so that it can comply with the Universities Ethics requirement. 
Recommend removing the oral requirement from the class and moving it to another course or use one of the Universities 
speach classes. 
Continue to keep topics up to date and select new readings each term.
