To get to room 207A of the Love Building (click for map), you need to go through room 207 Love. The entrance is on the second floor, near the elevator and stairs on the east side of the building (the entrance closest to Woodward street).
I am teaching a course in software engineering during the fall semester 2010. It meets Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8AM to 8:50AM. and Thursdays 12:30PM to 1:45PM. I will normally hold office hours immediately following the MWF class meetings, except when preempted by other scheduled meetings.
Anyone needing to see me at other times should arrange an
appointment, or try walking in. I generally leave my office door
open, and you can generally find me in the office during working
days when I am not in a scheduled meeting. You can check whether
I am in or make an appointment by calling me on the telephone
(385-8923 at home, and 644-5452 in the office). E-mail () is good for other communications,
but is not very good for arranging appointments, since it takes
too many cycles to zero in on a date and time. Moreover, when I
have to concentrate on a deadline job I sometimes ignore e-mail
for several days at a stretch.
I do not wish to be disturbed before class on the days I teach. I normally use that time in preparation for the day's class. If anyone knocks on my door then I may ignore it or respond impatiently.
