HomeWork Section 30% Exams Section 70%
For details of Grading, refer to the Course Information handout.
- Once Again: Read the Course Information handout.
- REQUIREMENTS: there will be four or five problem sets, one midterm, one small programming assignment, one group programming project and a final exam.
- The midterms will be on Feb 22nd. The midterm will be in our usual room.
- The FINAL EXAM is on April 26th, Wednesday. 5:15pm to 7:30pm. Venue: In Class, Love 0101
- NOTE: there will be no makeups for either of the exams.
- You should write all of your notes in latex. I will try to have a latex reference book on reserve in the library. You can use the program xfig to make your postscript figures. Before you begin scribing, you should talk to me to see if I already have notes handwritten or scribed.
- Here is a not so short introduction to Latex
- If your scribe notes are based on scribe notes from previous years, then make sure that you credit all previous scribes by putting their names in a footnote.
- Here is one sample scribing of lectures: sample1.tar. (To untar, type "tar -xvf sample1.tar".)
- Here is the template for scribing: template.tex.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
