Quasirandom Number Generation

Department of Computer Science
Florida State University

Quasi-random sequences are designed to provide better uniformity than random or pseudo-random sequences and hence faster convergence (O((logN)kN-1 for quadrature formulas. They are useful for integration becuase they lead to much smaller error than pseudo-random numbers

The goal of the group is to efficiently provide high quality high dimensional Sobol sequences, to develop discrepancy testing codes, and to investigate QRN generators based on full period LCGs.

Project 4
Implementing a high quality 360-dimensional Sobol Sequence

In this project, we implement high-quality 360-dimensional Sobol sequences. For the high-quality sequences, we should find out good directional numbers.
