Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in COP 3510 and MAD 3104

Text: Introduction to Algorithms by Cormen, Leiserson, and Rivest

Grading Policy:

75%: Three exams each worth 25% of total grade, 25% Assignments (Programming/Problems)

  1. You must have passing marks in BOTH the exams and the assignments to pass!!
  2. Assignments must be in on time as there will be a 20% reduction in assignment grades for each day the assignments are late
  3. No incompletes will be issued in this class
  4. Grading will be on a curve with +/- grades possible

Exam Dates:

  1. Wednesday, 29 September, 1999
  2. Wednesday, 10 November 1999
  3. Friday, 10 December 1999

Material to Be Covered:

Chapters 1-4, 7-13, 16, 17, 23, and 33.
