"Pattern Classification" by Richard O. Duda, Peter E. Hart, and David G. Stork, 2nd Edition.

The book is available on Amazon.com at $93.34 for a new copy and used and like-new from $55.16. The book should be available in the FSU bookstore.

Special Note for Non-Computer Science Students: If you have the necessary background and like to register for this class (even when it is full), please email the instructor (liux@cs.fsu.edu) with a brief summary of your background and then you will be added to the class by the Computer Science Department if you have the necessary background.
