Computer Science Faculty Meeting (03/24/2006)

Minutes

CS faculty in attendance: Aggarwal, Baker, Baldauf, Burmester, de Medeiros, Duan, Gopalan, Hawkes, Kumar, Langley, Leach, Liu, Myers, Srinivasan, Tyson, van Engelen, Whalley and Yasinsac.

The Chair, Dr. David Whalley, called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM and passed around a sign-up sheet for annual faculty evaluations.

Dr. Ted Baker made a presentation on items that are required (by the Collective Bargaining Agreement) to be part of our departmental Procedures and Criteria document, as well as a number of other items that we might want to include in that document.

There were a number of comments and questions concerning this presentation.

It was agreed that the departmental executive committee serve as a subcommittee to consider the suggested changes and to prepare a document for review by the faculty.

Dr. Whalley announced that he would be out of town from 3/24 through 3/29 and that Dr. Baker would be serving as acting chair in his absence.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:15 AM.
