The normal procedures add entries automatically. :-) However, some cases require manual blocking and manual entry creation. Sometimes, an interruption occurs after the manual block before the entry is created. Occasionally, after the interrupt has been handled, what the person was doing is not remembered and the entry creation is forgotten. :-( Please send me the MAC address and where you have tried connecting the system. I will check it out. Later, Ken -----Original Message----- From: On Behalf Of James Stricherz Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2008 6:46 PM Subject: [Nolenet] Blocked hosts list? Is http://ucs.fsu.edu/~zeisler/proweb/hblockfra.html still the canonical listing of blocked hosts on-campus? I have a machine that refuses to connect either via DHCP or static IP, and I suspect it has been blocked, but I don't see it's MAC address on Rick's page. Thanks, James Stricherz
