Assignment 0: NSA document analysis

I have created a single, searchable PDF of the widely disseminated NSA catalog from the recent Der Spiegel article Shopping for Spy Gear: Catalog Advertises NSA Toolbox.

Your assignment is to work through the following list of names from that document, and write a short summary of what the term appears to mean, what pages of the NSA document is found on (use the codename as the page identifier rather than page numbers --- the order of the pages in my document doesn't relate to the original catalog but was induced by my reformatting of the original document into a more OCR-friendly format), and what technologies it is related to, such as target technologies.

There is a very useful compilation of information at http://cryptome.org/2014/01/nsa-codenames.htm which should be of a great deal of aid in this assigment.

I will leave it to your resources to choose an appropriate format for your work, but please write it coherently.

Please turn in a printed copy of this homework at the beginning of class on Tuesday, January 14.
