Attendence is required for both the lectures and the recitations. You are responsible for collecting all material delivered in class.

Assignments

Oral presentations and exercises from the book will be assigned
as homework on a regular basis. The assignments are intended for learning
purposes and as preparation for the tests.

Grading

exams for the grading policy and the breakdown
of your final grade. Exam dates will be scheduled in advance. A grade of
zero will be recorded for missed exams unless prior arrangements have been
made. Assignments will be given on a regular bases and are intended to
prepare for the tests. The assignments, when turned in before or at the
due date before midnight, will be graded. When turned in late, 5% will
be deducted from the homework grade
per day until the homework has
been received, with a maximum extension of five days.
