Instructions

  1. Every CS Faculty member needs to fill out a faculty information form (ABET CV). (deadline: end of semester).

  2. The faculty coordinator for each course needs to do the following:

    1. Complete a course information form (ABET syllabus), to be included in our self-study report. (deadline: end of semester)

      • Read the instructions, which are accessible via this link.
      • Verify that the course objectives on the form include the SMALCs outcomes for the course, if any.
        The SMALCs outcomes for 2005-2006 are accessible via this link, and other links to information about SMALCs are accessible via this link.
      • Verify that the objectives are consistent with the University guidelines.
        The guidelines are accessible via this link.
      • Verify that the textbook listed for the course on the form is one of the approved ones in the master textbook table, which is accessible via this link.
    2. Verify that the 2005-2006 SMALCs objectives, assessments, and actions for the course are correct.

      • Read the instructions, which are accessible via this link.
      • Verify that any corrective actions promised there have actually been implemented.
    3. Submit materials for the course display. (deadline: end of summer)
