You should be a graduate student.

Course rationale:

This course introduces you to the research done by the CS faculty, which will help you in choosing an advisor and a topic for your MS thesis or project.

Course objectives:

The primary purpose of this course is to introduce you to the research conducted by the CS faculty at FSU. You will also get training in research tools, such as searching for literature online and in the library, writing papers using Latex, etc.

Course description:

An important component of this course will listening to talks given by CS faculty. You will also be given training on using the library, and other research tools.

Grading criteria:

The grade will be S/U only. You will need to perform satisfactorily in each of the following criteria to pass the course.
