Sarah Diesburg Wins PEO ScholarshipApril 30, 2009
Computer Science graduate student Sarah Diesburg has won a $15,000 international scholarship that she will put toward her Ph.D. research, which may someday help make the world a safer place for computer users.
Diesburg, nominated for the P.E.O. Scholar Award by her advisor, Assistant Professor Andy Wang, will use the money from the International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood for research hardware and other expenses during the 2009-2010 academic year.
