Ha Hoang has been selected as a recipient of the Douglas Peterson Vietnamese Scholarship. This scholarship honors Douglas "Pete" Peterson, former United States Congressman and former Ambassador to Vietnam. The scholarship is made possible by an endowment gift from Mr. Doan L. Phung, a Vietnamese American and a graduate of Florida State University.
