Another Former FSU CS PhD Graduate Receives NSF CAREER Award April 27, 2012

Congratulations to Dr. R. Clint Whaley (Computer Science PhD, 2004) on receiving the highly competitive 2012 NSF CAREER Award. Clint did his PhD at Florida State University under the advisorship of Prof. David Whalley in the area of empirical compilation and auto-tuning for high performance computing. He is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at University of Texas at San Antonio and will be an Associate Professor with tenure in the same department in Fall 2012. In total, four graduates of the FSU Computer Science Department have won this award since its inception.
