We are a small R&D ultrasound company specializing in next generation research platforms for universities and labs worldwide. We are also finalizing a set of commercial products for clinical use, eagerly anticipated by the market within the next few months. Current considerations include conformance to ISO 9000, IEC 60601 and 13485 regulations, as well as FDA compliance.
Job Description
WinProbe Corporation is seeking software engineers to develop Windows desktop applications using the .NET Framework. Successful candidates will join a team developing, designing, supporting and testing applications in an agile development environment using Visual Studio. Discipline in documentation, testing, verification and validation is necessary. Previous experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
Areas of development include, but are not limited to, user experience design, device driver development, test design, static code analysis Core responsibilities include development the medical imaging system for a clinical setting, strong data-bound WPF development, and good reporting skills. This will entail all of the same requirements for exception handling, testing, traceability, verification and validation.
Because a majority of past applicants have had a trend towards backgrounds in IT and/or web development, it is important to stress that this position is for desktop application development. Only applicants with experience in WinForms, WPF, and a strong understanding of the .NET BCL will be considered.
Skills & Experience
Required:
• B.S. in computer science (or B.S. in progress for internship applicants)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desired:
• 3+ years, C++, C#, .NET Framework (4.5)
• WinForms, Windows Presentation Foundation.
• Visual Studio (2012), Team Foundation Server, Scrum, CMMI, OOA/OOD
• SQL, LINQ, XAML
• Technical writing skills (including UML diagrams, bug reports, client feature requests, etc)
• UI / UX design
• DICOM / PACS server integration
• DirectX11 / DirectShow
• FDA verification and validation
• Device driver development
• Certifications preferred: MCSD, MCPD and MCTS
