Research Assistantships Available
We are looking for highly motivated, creative and energetic programmers to help in an R&D project that involves a variety of subprojects including large scale web crawling, natural language processing and clustering. We are primarily looking for graduate students but undergraduate students are also welcome to apply. Most of our current codebase is in Python. We are hoping to hire someone good at programming that either already knows Python or is willing to learn Python, and is very good with at least one of the following programming languages:
C++, C, Python, Java.
The positions start in January 2013 (Spring Semester) and will continue through the Summer Semester 2013. The project may possibly be extended to 2014. This is a great opportunity to work closely (1 on 1) with experienced researchers and peers, and also learn while working on challenging research problems.
