Style Conventions

This manual uses the following style conventions:

Example Description
A High Value Block
The name of a NeurOn-Line block or attribute. Each word in a name begins with a capital letter. Generally, the names used in this manual are the names that appear on the NeurOn-Line palettes and in the configuration panels.
dp-out
Any G2 code fragment, including object names, menu choices, attribute names, and attribute values. Generally, G2 objects are hyphenated and in lower case.
meta-symbol
An expression you should substitute with your own text. For example, in the expression the attr-name of the superior object, you would substitute the actual name of an attribute for attr-name.
