Introduction
NeurOn-Line is a graphical, object-oriented software product for building neural
network applications. Typical applications include quality assurance, sensor validation, diagnosis, and process modeling. Users of NeurOn-Line can model
dynamic, nonlinear phenomena that are difficult to describe by analytical models.
This manual provides general information about how to use NeurOn-Line. It
assumes you are familiar with G2. For information on the behavior of each
specific NOL block, see the NeurOn-Line Reference Manual. In addition, the Educational Services Department at Gensym holds classes that are excellent ways to
become familiar with these products.
