Introduction
You can customize various aspects of the NOL environment. Each time you save
and load your application, you use a custom environment. You can customize the
following aspects of your NOL environment:
- The default colors NOL uses for menus, blocks, inference paths, queues, configuration panels, network blocks, and alarm panels.
- The default settings for menus, queues, startup, environment, and snapshots.
For example, you might want the idle color for blocks to be white instead of blue,
you might want inference paths to use red for false and green for true, or you
might want the background color of configuration panels to be blue instead of
wheat.
There are numerous default settings that NOL uses, which you can also
customize, including default pathnames, default language for menus, default
initialization and environment settings.
In addition, you can use the GFR (Gensym Foundation Resources) module of G2,
which is included with NOL, to translate menu choices to other languages. For
more information, see Gensym Foundation Resources User's Guide.
