-decnetport decnet-port-name
If the new G2 process cannot open a connection to the specified port, this option also directs G2 to attempt to open a connection to the G2 default DECnet port name
g20. If this is not successful, G2 increments the last digit in that port name (to
g21), attempts to connect to that port name, and so on. G2 stops after trying to connect to DECnet port name g2100-that is, after incrementing the G2 default DECnet port name 100 times.
-decnetexact option in the command line modifies how the new G2 process attempts to open a DECnet network connection. See the section decnetexact.

This command starts a G2 process that attempts to open a network connection to thee DECnet port named c17:
