Capturing Windows Error Messages in a Log File
When you launch G2 under Windows, a console window appears that displays all standard output messages. If an error occurs, the console disappears, and any error messages disappear with it. To preserve any error messages under Windows, always use the
-log command line option to direct standard output messages to a log file:
pathname specifies the name and location of the log file. If the file already exists, it is overwritten.
