| Department of COMPUTER SCIENCE Academics Graduate Information Masters Degree Computer and Network System Administration |
The Department of Computer Science offers a limited enrollment in professional masters degree programs in Computer and Network System Administration (the CNSA major) and in Software Engineering (the SE major). To be eligible for admission to these majors, the student must first meet the admission requirements for the Computer Science major and then be admitted to the CNSA or SE by the area Oversight Committee, a faculty committee. Admission into the CNSA and SE majors is selective and limited. The limited selection is made by each area's Oversight Committee, based on qualifications of students and availability of resources.
To be considered for admission to the CNSA or SE major, a person must either already have been accepted to the graduate program in computer science, or the person must concurrently submit a separate application for admission to the graduate program in computer science, including letters of recommendation, GRE scores, and transcripts of relevant coursework.
The basic coursework requirements for the CNSA and SE majors are documented in the FSU Bulletin. By submitting this form, the undersinged also agrees to the following more specific requirements:
